About this blog

This is my personal blog which I began in February 2001. I called it The Obvious? when I wrote anonymously and chose the name to reflect the fact I have to overcome my inhibitions about stating the obvious!

Here's a link to, and a tiny bit of reflection on, Euan Semple's Do Lecture. This is a half hour of Euan's thoughts, experiences, and stories about them, regarding his time at the BBC and what he learned, and continues to learn, about social media and its uses and abuses.

Very Billy Connolly at times. Well done. Love the analogy of Milton Keynes.

Have been wondering about your "talking funny" comment. What terminology do you use for processes? Or what do you propose people in large orgs use instead of processes? (I am expecting you now to say "wee things that need to be done.")
